Keto Country Sausage Stuffing

An easy addition to a keto-friendly Thanksgiving dinner, especially near the holidays. Super filling, minimal prep and better than traditional stuffing.

Stuffing Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb country sausage
  • 2 cup Low Carb Quick Keto Croutons
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 yellow onion

Instructions

Crouton Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 320° F. Mix flours, heavy cream, erythritol, eggs, and butter to form batter.
  • Bake bread batter for 25-30 minutes, until crust is golden on top, using an 8x8 pan or 10'' round cast iron skillet.
  • Remove and cut bread into 1/2in. cubes. Add other seasonings and bake another 5-10 minutes with a brushing of olive oil to toast, or let sit overnight.

Stuffing Instructions

  • On med-high heat, brown sausage. Half way through add onion and celery.
  • Drain. Add chicken broth, butter, and croutons. Gently stir until croutons soak up broth and juices.
