Bourbon, Bacon & Swiss Burger

It’s robust flavor adds a sweet and smokey element to the bacon in this dish. Just a tablespoon is all you need for the sweet and savory bacon sauce.

HOW DO I MAKE A BOURBON BURGER? I like to use at least 80% lean grass-fed local beef, but feel free to change this up to your liking. A fattier burger tends to be quite tasty as well.

For this recipe, we’re not actually adding bourbon to the ground beef. Typically, bourbon burgers are topped with bourbon soaked onions or a bourbon “jam.”

Heat butter on medium heat in pan with onions to caramelize.

– Meanwhile, cook burger patties to your desired wellness. –
