Second, add in the veggies.
Finally, make sure the veggies are submerged with the beef broth before cooking.

What other ingredients could I use for the stew?
Roasted radishes make a great alternative to the traditional potatoes in beef stew.
If you’re close to finishing, you may want to add in some cauliflower or broccoli as it doesn’t take very long to soften up in an already warm slow-cooker.
What can I serve with beef stew?
I like serving my beef stew over some mashed califlower with garlic and butter in the mix.
You may even want to toast some low-carb bread and serve the stew on top, like an open-faced beef sandwich.
